Enough Is Enough

 Most High God, 

I come to you heavy laden for the wickedness surrounding me. Enough is enough. It is past time for your church to start operating in the biblical authority you have given us. Time for us to go to spiritual war. To invade enemy territory and take back stolen ground. 

I plead for you to raise warriors who willingly run to the battle. To stand on the front lines through prayer without flinching in the face of ferocious enemy assaults. I ask for people with backbones of steel and yet hearts like velvet tender to your leadership and loving towards people. Please raise up warring churches who do spiritual battle with great effectiveness. I ask for churches who are repentant of the sins of fear, apathy, hypocrisy, unbelief, prayerlessness, religious rituals, powerlessness, division, lack of evangelistic fervor, and who grieve and quench your Spirit. 

You told us to stand firm against the schemes of the Devil. We have sinned by caving in and going along to get along. I implore you to bring your people to repentance for this as well. May we dig and resist the evil one. No longer in a defensive posture and mindset. I ask you to strengthen us to go on the offensive. To fight the fight of faith with the power of the sword of the Spirit. I ask for the deep resolve to advance the kingdom of God daily in our secret place and in public prayer gatherings. Please give me the undying resolve to lead such gatherings. 

We are tired of watching the enemy steal and destroy our children, churches, and our country. Stir us to fight back. To learn to pray more than tired worn religious cliches. Put brave ballistic prayers in us that turn the tide of evil sweeping the land. I ask you to empower us to pray boldly and more confidently as we approach the throne of grace seeking to obtain help and mercy in our time of need. 

We live in a time of need. Our adversary has been winning battles for a long time. We know that he will ultimately lose the war. Satan has limited authority. You rule supremely without equals or rivals. You are unquestionably sovereign. Why have we lived in defeat for so long when victory through you was always accessible? It is nothing short of downright willful sin. We did so little to stand against the sinister schemes of Satan. We bowed in submission and retreated like whipped puppies. We should have taken our stand. Resisted. Advanced. Made the demons of hell retreat. Prayed and ministered with Holy Ghost authority. 

Through you we are valiant warriors like Gideon. Through you we have supernatural strength like Sampson. Through you we can pray like Elijah who had a nature just like ours. Through you we can believe for mountains to move. We can believe you to save people from all walks of life. Through you we can go on special op missions to rescue the perishing. Nothing is impossible with you and through you. May your church start living like we believe those things. May we quit living wimpy lives of defeat. 

It is a fight. A raging battle. I pray we would not be gripped by fear preferring to remain in our holy huddles safe behind secluded sanctuary walls. Call us to battle ready battalions. I beg you to enlist regiments of resolved prayer soldiers to seek first your kingdom. I cry out to you for seasoned intercessors to lead the way where many have never gone before. Please deepen our passionate perseverance to not lose heart easily or give up when we get wounded in the fight. 

Enough is enough. It is time to storm the beachheads again to confront our adversary. To prayerfully push forward. To march on our knees. May the prayers of your people fall like atomic bombs on enemy territory. May your troops pledge their lives in prayerful battle until we hear the trumpet call rapturing us home to glory. In your name Jesus, amen.
