28 Days To Trust And Obey - Day 2

Genesis 18:14 (NKJV)
14  Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son."

Sarah was close to 90 and Abraham close to 100 when God sent them the message that He would bless them with a son. A promised heir. SA long awaited promise over two decades delayed. It must have seemed to both of them that the long awaited son would not come. Their old age seemed prohibitive.

When Sarah heard this she laughed. She thought the whole thing not believable. Let's not be too hasty to judge Sarah. We do the same thing. We look at our problems and often shrink God in our minds about what He can do. We look at our impossible situations and lose heart and faith. I know I sure have. Even though we have access to God's unfathomable promises in His word we still let unbelief creep in crippling our prayers.

Here is the question today. Is anything too hard for the LORD? Anything? Any diseases beyond His ability to heal. Any mountain so massive He cannot move it. Any need so great He cannot provide for it. Any burden so heavy He cannot lift it. Any door so locked He cannot open it. Is anything too hard for Him. The answer is a resounding NO. Not even your situation. He can do anything.

There are no hard circumstances for God. Read that again. There are no hard circumstances for God. He does not face challenges and impossibilities. He can do anything for anyone. I hope that encourages today. When we pray we need to be reminded that nothing is too difficult, too challenging and too impossible for Yahweh. He is able. [Eph 3:20] He owns everything. [Ps 24:1] He has more than enough to meet your needs. [Phil 4:19]. He is a mountain mover. [Mark 11:23-24]. So let us pray with more belief.

Abraham and Sarah had to wait for the appointed time for that blessed son. Sometimes we have to wait for the appointed time for the answers to our prayers. Trust this. God keeps His appointments. He is NEVER LATE!He is always on time. So if you are waiting for Him to come through  for you rest in this truth. He already has the answer in hand. Sometimes waiting is just a matter of waiting for the right time. Do not lose heart or faith.

Take these two truths with you today. Nothing is too hard for God. That includes your situation. His timing is perfect. Let these two truths fuel your praying today.
